The film traces the professional journey of different students and practitioners specializing in the social sciences. Through individual interviews, the film sheds light on the challenges they faced in order to pursue a career in the social sciences. While they come from different backgrounds and countries, what they all have in common is their passion for their fields and their determination to improve their societies, using the skills and knowledge learned through their social science studies. This film is part of an ACSS project titled “Towards a New Generation of Social Scientists in the Arab Region,” developed in collaboration with the Ford Foundation and the UNESCO Regional Office for Education in the Arab States.
